Our sweet journey at Alba's Sweet Bake

Alba’s Sweet Bake was born from a very personal blend of my story, my passion for cooking, and the desire to create something of my own that connected with people. After more than 19 years in hospitality, working in all areas of the kitchen and even managing my own restaurant, I felt the need for something more creative and personal. I’ve always been passionate about baking, not just as a technique, but as a way to convey emotions: a sweet treat can turn an ordinary day into a special moment.

The idea of building a unique bakery came from wanting to break away from the typical. I didn’t just want to sell cakes or cinnamon rolls; I wanted to create an experience: visually appealing products, intense flavours, modern combinations, and that "extra soft" touch that keeps people coming back. The environment in the UK also played a big role, where the concept of a "cake shed" and small independent businesses has immense potential.
